Live-In Caregiver Supports

At Enriching Lives, we believe individuals should have the opportunity to live as independently as possible, including living outside of their family home when that is their preference and appropriate supports are available. Our Live-In Caregiver Supports service connects an individual with a qualified support staff member who lives in the same home and provides assistance based on the individual’s needs and person-centered plan.

Live-In Caregiver support may include:

• In-home availability: The caregiver lives in the same residence and is available to provide support during periods when other staff are not scheduled
• Emergency support: The caregiver is available to respond to emergencies or unexpected situations while residing in the home
• Daily living assistance: Support may include appropriate household tasks and activities that help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
• Skill development: The caregiver can assist the individual with developing and maintaining skills that promote greater independence
• Personalized support: Services are provided according to the individuals specific needs, preferences, goals, and agreed-upon service plan

The goal of Live-In Caregiver Supports is to provide individuals with greater independence, safety, stability, and the opportunity to live in their own home or community with the appropriate level of support.
